Education Foundation of Forest Grove

The Education Foundation of Forest Grove is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1989 to expand educational opportunity and support for the Forest Grove School District. The Foundation funds a number of student scholarships and teacher grants each year.

Education Foundation Highlights

• Since 2003, the Education Foundation has raised over $49,000 through Phone-A-Thons to help students and programs in the Forest Grove School District.
• Since 1990, the Education Foundation has awarded over $48,000 in grants for special projects, impacting students in every school in the district.
• Since 2001, the Education Foundation has awarded college scholarships totaling $54,000 to Forest Grove High School seniors. The Foundation awards four scholarships each spring.The scholarships are funded through an alumni fund and through endowed gifts.

Annual Events

Christmas with the Trail Band is a family holiday concert with a blend of old favorites and new songs and is held each year in the Forest Grove High School Auditorium the first part of December. The Trail Band is an eight-piece ensemble that blends brass and string arrangements of traditional and original music featuring five vocalists including Quarterflash's Rindy Ross.
